Interior Design & Styling One Month Programme

We will be covering the design process – how to start a project, concept, where to get ideas from, using colour, pattern and texture in an interior design project, planning out a layout, wall coverings and floor coverings, lighting design, designing different spaces in a residential and commercial properties, how to present your scheme and coordinate your project with contractors, style and trends what is in fashion now and looking at past trends, Furniture, fittings and equipment (FF&E), budgeting for a project and bringing it all together.

They will work towards the presentation of a given project. This will include working together as a team to present their scheme and the steps that it has taken for them to fulfil their ideas. Including presentation of sample boards, written work and drawings to back up their inspirations, trends and influences. They will be working alongside an experience interior designer, whom will guide them along the journey of the course.

Work with space planning, scale, colour and style, with relevance to past, current and future trends, to create a scheme to present your ideas.Understand the importance of researching the needs of the client and creating the scheme to make sure that it is fit for purpose.

 Sara Corker

Sara has been working in the design industry since 1990. She trained at the American Intercontinental University in London. Sara is a qualified and experienced teacher, a trained Colour Therapist and Project Manager. She alternates between working in her own successful design practice, combining technical experience with an approachable, teaching and writing courses, she has recently written 'How to start your own successful interior design business'. Sara is a member of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID), is on the Membership Committee and is a mentor and assessor for the Professional Pathway.

Great design isn't just about improving property through a designers eyes, but instead she uses her teaching (and therefore listening) skills to get to the heart of what clients want from their space, so that the end result is always individual and the best for them.

A.It includes the tuition fee, air travel to London Heathrow and return, airport pick up & drop,accommodation for the entire duration at INIFD House in Central London, food all meals, travel within London, subject related museum/exhibitions visits, social events and photo-shoots with a crew of industry Professionals (Fashion Styling).
Q. DO I NEED A VISA?
A.Yes, if you do not hold a UK or EU passport you need to apply for a student visitor visa. Our Admissions officer will help and guide you through the process.
Q. DO I GET A REFUND IF MY VISA IS REFUSED BY UKBA?
A.Yes a refund will be issued on confirmation of refusal of your visa deducting the visa application fees and administration charges upto £500. No Refund will be processed once the visa is granted.
Q. DO I GET A CERTIFICATE FOR THE SHORT COURSE?
A.At the end of the course, you will get a certificate of completion by (INIFD London) London School of Trends accredited by the British Accreditation Council.
Q. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE OFFER LETTER?
A.On the receipt of your application form and the full payment of course fee, application will be reviewed and successful candidates will receive an offer letter within 72hrs of the application.
